Living with longevity.
Limone is a small village by the Lake Grada in northern Italy, where nature has hidden what might be the signs of evolution. The inhabitants of this village are blessed with a genetic defect, which prevents the clogging of arteries; hence making them immune to heart failure and stroke. These diseases contribute to 9million deaths around the world every year, in spite of groundbreaking research in the area. This photo essay is an exploration into life of people in this village and an overview into their biological advantage.
